WHO WE ARE

St Joseph’s is a lively and joyful Catholic parish that comes together to celebrate God’s love and to follow the light of Christ’s example. We celebrate daily God’s love in prayer, friendship, service and the Eucharist. Our church is a place for anyone who desires peace and quiet, somewhere to come in times of difficulty, somewhere you will find a listening ear.

Unique to our Parish community is the pastoral care offered by friars of the Discalced Carmelite Order. Having served the community since 1913, St Joseph’s is particularly blessed with their express form of Christian spirituality.

We belong to the Diocese of Northampton, being one of its most southerly parishes, which is led by Rt Rev Bishop Peter Doyle.
